Acceptable Use Policy

What may and may not be done with Smart Leads.

This page is a placeholder, not legal text. It lists what the reviewed Acceptable Use Policy must cover. The reviewed text replaces it before Smart Leads goes live.

Forbidden uses

The reviewed text must cover:

  • Purchased or rented email lists (02-design “Acceptable Use Policy”).
  • Cold email to consumers (B2C) where the law does not allow it.
  • Deceptive content: false sender identity, misleading subjects, impersonation.
  • Bypassing the platform’s safeguards (suppression lists, unsubscribe, daily caps).

Sending rules every email follows

The reviewed text must cover:

  • An identifying sender, the company’s postal address and a working unsubscribe link and header in every email (REQ-SEND-3, REQ-SET-6).
  • Unsubscribes and suppressions are honored within 1 minute of detection (REQ-RPL-4).
  • Customers keep their sending domains in good standing: SPF, DKIM and DMARC set, low bounce rates.

Data sources

The reviewed text must cover:

  • Google Places data only under the customer’s Google account and its terms; OpenStreetMap data with “© OpenStreetMap contributors” attribution.
  • Website scraping respects robots.txt, identifies itself and never bypasses logins or CAPTCHAs; customers do not use the service to get around that.

Enforcement

The reviewed text must cover:

  • Sender accounts are paused automatically on repeated bounces or failed logins (REQ-SEND-6); workspaces with sustained bounce or complaint signals can be paused or closed.
  • How to report abuse.
