Smart Leads

Terms of Service

The agreement between Smart Leads and the people and companies who use it.

This page is a placeholder, not legal text. It lists what the reviewed Terms of Service must cover. The reviewed text replaces it before Smart Leads goes live.

Parties and the service

The reviewed text must cover:

  • Who provides Smart Leads (legal name, address, contact) and who the customer is: the workspace and its owner.
  • What the service does: lead generation into collections, a lead CRM, and email sequences sent through the customer’s own mailboxes.
  • How a user accepts the terms (for example a statement on the sign-up page) and how changes to the terms are announced.

Accounts and workspaces

The reviewed text must cover:

  • Accounts need a verified email; two-factor authentication is available; users keep their credentials safe.
  • Workspaces have owners, admins and members with different rights (REQ-WS-4); the owner is responsible for billing and deletion.

Trial, plans and billing

The reviewed text must cover:

  • One 14-day trial per owner, without payment details (REQ-BILL-2, P2-01).
  • Payments, plan changes, cancellation and invoices are handled through Paddle (REQ-BILL-1, REQ-BILL-6); downgrades take effect at once, billed at the next renewal (P2-20).
  • Monthly limits reset at the start of each UTC calendar month (REQ-BILL-5).
  • After a failed payment the workspace keeps access for 7 days, then becomes read-only, as it does when a trial ends or a subscription is cancelled (REQ-BILL-4).

The customer’s own keys and accounts

The reviewed text must cover:

  • Google Maps Platform keys, AI provider keys and mailboxes belong to the customer, who follows those providers’ terms and pays them directly (REQ-SET-1, 2, 4).
  • Google Places data is used under the customer’s Google account and its storage limits; OpenStreetMap data is ODbL and needs attribution (02-design “Compliance”).

Acceptable use and suspension

The reviewed text must cover:

  • Use is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Sender accounts with too many bounces or failed logins are paused automatically (REQ-SEND-6); accounts with sustained bounce or complaint signals can be paused.

Data, export and deletion

The reviewed text must cover:

  • The workspace’s data belongs to the workspace; leads can be exported (REQ-LEAD-7).
  • Deleting a workspace cancels its subscription, ends access at once and deletes its data within 30 days, with no restore (REQ-WS-6, P1-19).
  • Processing of personal data on the customer’s behalf is governed by the Data Processing Agreement.

Liability, warranties, governing law

The reviewed text must cover:

  • To be set by legal counsel: warranties, limits of liability, indemnities, governing law and courts.
